Kybella

Botox

Xeomin

Xeomin is a treatment that was approved by the FDA in 2011 in order to be used for aesthetic purposes. It is especially effective at treating frown lines. Xeomin works in a similar way to Botox. When it is injected into the facial muscles, it causes them to relax. This means that muscles that have been accustomed to staying contracted are able to relax, and then they do not cause those deep wrinkles in your face that make you look older. Juvederm

Juvederm is a collection of FDA approved injectable dermal fillers that temporally add or restore volume to certain areas of the face. The main ingredient is hyaluronic acid, also known as HA. Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally found in our bodies. Juvederm fillers can add volume for lift and contour in cheeks, add plumpness to lips, smooth the look of wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth, and even add definition to the jawline. Radiesse

Radiesse is a dermal filler that is used for smoothing moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds which are the folds that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth. Radiesse is also used for correcting volume loss in the back of the hands.

Sculptra

Sculptra is an FDA approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen- an underlying cause of facial aging-for results that can last more than two years. Results appear naturally over the treatment regime, typically three injections over the course of three to four months.

PRP Facelift

Collagen Induction Therapy (Micro-Needling)

Also known as Automated Micro-Needling, this is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine for the treatment of fine lines, acne scars, and improvement of the skin’s texture, tone and color. During this procedure, tiny needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. The skin’s repair process results in a thicker dermis with softer wrinkles. FDA approved Exceed Microneedling pen also creates microchannels which allow topical gels, creams and serums to be absorbed more effectively, enhancing their effects in deeper layers of the skin.

Dermaplane Treatment

Dermaplaning is an excellent treatment for freshening and vitalzing our skin, and may also be used to enhance the absorption of chemical peels. The top layer of skin is carefully exfoliated with a specialized surgical blade. The process removes dead skin cells, peach fuzz, and stimulates new skin development. The procedure also includes an enzyme treatment.

Morpheus8

Morpheus8 is a fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis. Fractionated energy is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro pins and heat to renew the deeper layers of the skin. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be remodeled to reveal a more radiant, youthful appearance with almost little to no patient downtime. 

Morpheus8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from resurfacing and subdermal renewal. The most common areas that are treated include the face, periorbital area, abdomen, thighs, legs and buttocks.

For comfort purposes, your physician will apply a topical numbing cream before treatment as well as offer the use of Pro-Nox (laughing gas) and air cooling during the treatment. Sessions usually last 45-60 minutes depending on the area.

Patients should moisturize the treated area and avoid direct sun exposure. Swelling, redness and possible bruising can occur right after the procedure and the days following. Visible results can be seen within a few days but typically after three weeks the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment. Your physician will recommend the optimal number of sessions based on personal objectives. 

Lumenis PhotoFractional Skin Rejuvination

The Lumenis PhotoFractional treatment combines two technologies to address both tone and texture irregularities. By decreasing pigmentation and redness while simultaneously triggering collagen production, your skin becomes more even in color and texture.

The M22 IPL (intense pulsed light) treatment is a great eraser for surface irregularities such as brown or dark spots from sun damage or scars, redness, or broken capillaries.

The ResurFX non-ablative fractional laser emits precise columns of heat energy into the skin to stimulate new collagen growth and retexture the skin. The controlled heat laser delivery has been used for decades in dermatology to trigger the body to “repair” the skin, leading to collagen production. Stimulating new collagen production is the key to more radiant, youthful looking skin.

By combining both IPL and ResurFX technologies, both skin pigmentation and textural irregularities can be treated within the same session. Lumenis IPL technology removes both unwanted pigmentation and blood vessels from the skin, while the ResurFX fractional laser stimulates the production of new collagen and elastic fibers in the deeper layers of skin.

To ensure utmost comfort, your physician can typically apply a topical numbing cream before treatment and/or use air cooling during treatment. Depending on your specific concern, you can expect the session to last 15-30 minutes. You may experience a warm or prickling sensation as the laser is applied to the skin, but the treatment is gentle and should not feel uncomfortable.

Non-ablative means the skin is not broken, so the resurfaced skin will not bleed or get infected during treatment or after, as it can with other technologies. Thus, there is minimal downtime and risk. No required time to rest or heal means no social downtime. There may be some redness and swelling right after the procedure and the following few days. Typically, your provider will advise you to wear sunblock and stay out of the sun for a few days. Check with your provider about wearing make up the next day.
