What Is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is a microneedling radiofrequency laser device that uses light and heat technology to create ‘micro-injuries’ in your skin. In order to heal those tiny injuries, your body produces more elastin and collagen, leaving your skin tighter and firmer than before.
What Is Morpheus8 Used For?
Morpheus8 is a versatile laser used to tighten loose skin from head to toe. Many things cause the skin to loosen or sag such as changes to weight, childbirth, sun exposure, and collagen loss due to the natural aging process. As the skin stretches and changes over time, it can droop and add years to our appearance.
Morpheus8 is a great solution to these changes because rather than injecting substances into your skin, it harnesses your body’s natural ability to heal and restore a youthful appearance. Our patients tell us that they notice skin that looks firmer, tighter, and lifted, as well as a reduced appearance of wrinkles, scarring, and pores.
Our Approach To Using Morpheus8
Our founder, Charity, recommends Morpheus8 as a solution for sagging skin almost anywhere on the body, “We use it a lot here in Arizona because sun damage is a big concern for our clients. Too much sun exposure over years leads to loose skin, most often on the face, neck, and parts of the arms or legs that are exposed the most while outdoors.”
Charity’s daughter and the newest Nurse Injector at Charity’s Medical Aesthetics, Alaina, loves using Morpheus8 on patients that don’t want to undergo more invasive procedures or full facelifts. She says, “Morpheus8 offers the lifting effect our patients want without the cost or downtime associated with surgery. I recommend it all the time!”
Our team also highly recommends complementing the Morpheus8 treatment with Exosomes for truly transformative results. Exosomes are derived from stem cells and significantly accelerate cell repair, resulting in smoother and tighter skin. Exosomes are applied after the Morpheus8 treatment so that the ingredients are absorbed effectively by the skin, maximizing their benefits during its receptive phase.
Treatment Details
First, we’ll start with a consultation to make sure you’re a good candidate for Morpheus8. Then, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that consists of the number of sessions required to achieve your beauty goals. This could be anywhere from 3 – 6 sessions per body part, depending on the condition your skin is in.
The length of your Morpheus8 treatment also depends on the part(s) of your body being treated. A full face often takes about 60 minutes, while the buttocks and thighs might take up to 90 minutes. Before we start the procedure, we’ll apply a numbing cream to minimize discomfort. After the treatment is done, we recommend ____.
Recovery can take up to 3-5 days before the skin is fully healed, and we suggest at least 1 month in between sessions. Results typically appear in about 1 month, and last about 1+ years (depending on how your body produces and maintains collagen).
Is Morpheus8 Right For You?
If you’ve been struggling to put a finger on exactly what looks different in the mirror, there is a good chance it’s the quality of your skin. Our skin is the largest organ in our body and faces a lot of environmental stress, as well as internal changes from collagen and elastin loss. While you still feel young and vigorous, sometimes the skin tells a different story.
By lifting and tightening the skin, you’ll notice a more vibrant version of your skin (and yourself). Morpheus8 is a great choice for those interested in rejuvenating their appearance without the use of Botox, fillers or plastic surgery. If this is something you are considering, give us a call and we’ll chat through your options!
